It seems to be in another world: you are wake up by the song of exotic birds and you find a simple breakfast in front of the swimming pool. Very romantic place, the ideal for a couple, half an hour from the beach and downtown but very characteristic for design and architecture. The owner Vanessa is very kind, friendly and available by mail if she is not on the place. She can arrange the pick up from the airport to the hotel at a good price. The room was very big with an original bath-room.
The bycicles were not available during our vist so we must walk every day under the sun or take a taxi.

The design of the house is beautiful; it's a traditional house, lots of wood, open spaces. It also has a lush garden and a pool, a very nice place to hang around. the house has a common kitchen with all cooking tools needed. The personel is very nice and helpful and so are the landlords.

Very clean, very good accomodation for the price in this location incl. breakfast, shopping distance in 5 min., very helpful staff.
Unpleasant ist dusty street without pavement and very long distance to the sea (good 25 minutes by walk). It is possible to take taxi for 20 PXN, but every day... it is also not the best solution.

For the price we paid, we got great value. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and soft sheets. The location was convenient and safe, with easy access to downtown and the bus station. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the hotel had a nice pool and efficient air conditioner.
The menu for breakfast could have had more options for vegetarians.

Really good price for a hotel in Playa del Carmen. Breakfast simple but good. Comfortable enough for sleeping only.
The neighborhood is not so nice. The ceiling of our room was quite dirty.

I loved the quaint style of this bed and breakfast. It was locked at nights so felt safe. It had a little pool that we enjoyed jumping into for a night swim right outside our room. This place was very affordable and very clean. We did not mind the 15 block walk to the beach at all. We rented bikes and in less than five minutes could be at the beach. It was nice to stay out of the busy part of Playa until we wanted to head down there. And the staff was very friendly as well.
